Kevin Owens “Mocks” AJ Styles on Twitter

Kevin Owens has had an interesting few months. His 2015 was amazing from his time in NXT as the brand’s champion to defeating John Cena in his first match on the main roster to becoming the Intercontinental Champion for months.

The latter part of his year involved him in a great feud with the current IC Champion Dean Ambrose. Owens did a great job of playing the heel to Dean’s face and put him over as a competitor and as a singles champion.

However, while Ambrose is dealing with Brock Lesnar and potentially main eventing Wrestlemania 32 with Triple H, Kevin Owens is spinning his wheels in the midcard without a solid feud that is progressing his character and his role at the biggest show of the year isn’t clear.

WWE still has the opportunity to reignite his career long feud with Sami Zayn after the events of the “Royal Rumble”, or enter the rumored feud with AJ Styles after eliminating him in the “Royal Rumble” match.

What’s interesting is Kevin Owens recently took to Twitter to take a shot at AJ Styles in character and continue the rumors of a match taking place between them in the near future. Owens posted the following:
