Two days ago, it was revealed by Sheamus on Twitter that he has been sidelined by an injury, and his arm is currently in a cast.

However, there was no confirmation about the severity of the injury, and it was believed that there would be an update on him by the end of the week.

Apparently, the injury is bad enough for him to start missing WWE live events because he was scheduled to be in main event matches against Roman Reigns during Saturday’s live event at the Macon Centreplex Coliseum in Macon, GA and Sunday’s show at the Columbus Civic Center in Columbus, GA.

Rusev will be replacing him on during those matches over the weekend, and he’ll be accompanied by “The Ravishing Russian” Lana despite the rumors of her having backstage heat. This reunion could be a way to get them more airtime on WWE television.

With Alberto Del Rio also out with a back injury, it looks like WWE is going to have to rethink the League of Nations stable. Unfortunately, it didn’t truly get off the ground, and a lack of consistent booking and the injuries to Sheamus and Del Rio could kill the group entirely.
