WWE Officials Unhappy With The Rock Going Off-Script During His Segment on Monday Night Raw

The Rock’s return to WWE on this week’s Monday Night Raw has received a very positive response from the WWE Universe.

However, not everyone backstage was pleased with The People’s Champion going off-script to address four fans in the front row dressed as The Rock, The Undertaker, Randy Savage, and Hulk Hogan.

According to the Inquisitir, The Rock was meant to go out there, entertain, have fun, and do the scheduled promo with The New Day. However, the fan dressed as The Macho Man kept standing up and doing the Savage Twirl and draw attention to himself.

The Miami crowd got into it and began chanting “Randy Savage”. This forced The Rock to address the elephant in the room and then he acknowledged going off script to talk to the fans drawing attention to themselves. After that, Rock brought the promo back on track.

It’s being said that after the match between Bray Wyatt and Kane that security was told to cut those four fans dressed up out. According to Ringsidenews.com, there were WWE officials that were visibly upset by the incident.

The general feeling backstage is that if almost anyone else went off script like that, they would have most likely been fired. However, it was The Rock. He’s going to get away with it, but he’ll most likely just get warned not to do it next time he comes to Raw or Smackdown.
