It seems that absolutely no one in WWE is safe from getting some kind of injury. Forner WWE Divas Champion Paige has been added to the extensive list of injuries from the WWE roster.

Paige has been noticeably absent from WWE programming after completing a heel turn and having a very good feud with current WWE Divas Champion Charlotte at the end of 2015.

However, she hasn’t competed in a match since having a Triple Threat match against Becky Lynch and Charlotte back in December at a WWE live event in Rhode Island. The reasoning for her absence is WWE has been very conscious of her health after she took a bad bump and suffered a concussion.

Recently, Paige took part in an interview with Channel Guide Magazine where she disclosed her concussion issues that have kept her out of the ring. You can read the full interview right here. Below is what Paige had to say about her status:

“WWE has been absolutely great with the wellness program and wanting to make sure I’m back on my feet and completely healthy before getting back in the ring again,” Paige said. “I’m losing my mind because I’m not at work right now, so it’s been a few straight weeks of not leaving the house. I do go to the PC and get back in the ring there and see the doctors to make sure I’m a good kid and taking as much Impact tests as I possibly can.

“I hope to get back in the ring soon. It’s just a slight concussion. No big deal. Not a crazy one but WWE is obviously very protective of their talent. I’m like, ‘I’m fine. I promise.’ They’re like, ‘No, we have to make sure you are 100 percent.’ They are like parents.”
