Injured WWE superstar Finn Balor will make a special appearance as a guest enforcer at ICW’s forthcoming event Fear & Loathing 9 on November 20.
The Demon King suffered a shoulder injury at Summerslam following an awkward landing while facing off against Seth Rollins in a match to determine the first ever WWE Universal Champion.
After Rollins launched Balor through the air into the security barricade, Balor landed on one side harder than the other, resulting in a severe shoulder dislocation which caused a tear to the labrum.
“Finn’s injury was pretty severe, more severe than normal,” said WWE doctor Jeffrey Dugas. “A really high energy injury, it did more damage than a standard shoulder dislocation where you simply tear the labrum. The prognosis is excellent, however. We were able to fix it all and put it back where it came from. I’m anticipating him getting back at full speed.”

On September 16, WWE posted a video updating fans on Balor’s current injury status. In the video, Balor says his current goal is to be wrestling-fit within five-months, which would see a return around Wrestlemania. Or perhaps given WWE’s love of surprise returns, there’s always a slight chance we could see Balor return at the Royal Rumble.
