Some people just can’t win. Every now and then you see a wrestler who seems to be snake bitten. No matter what they do or how talented they are, they just can’t manage to stay on the right path for one reason or another. They might not have even done anything wrong and for some reason it just keeps going badly for them. That seems to be the case for one of the more popular wrestlers on Monday Night Raw.
Samoa Joe is one of those wrestlers where you can feel something about him. There is a presence to him that can’t be faked and almost no one can match it. Every time he’s on screen he draws your attention to him and that is a very valuable thing to have. He’s getting up there in years though and seems to be rather injury prone, which is keeping him out of the ring again.
According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Samoa Joe has suffered a concussion and is currently out of action. The concussion took place during a commercial shoot when he hit his head on a table during a stunt. It is not clear how long Samoa Joe will be out of action, with this injury coming less than a month after he returned from another concussion during a six man tag and less than two months after he returned from a broken thumb.
Samoa Joe is used to these returns. Check out some of his recent acts of violence:
Opinion: Egads man. This is one of those cases that seems like it can only be attributed to bad luck. Samoa Joe is a very talented wrestler and for one reason or another, he just can’t stay healthy. It’s not like it’s even his fault as it’s just one thing after another with him. That’s very discouraging and given how long he has already been wrestling, I’m not sure how many more times he is going to be able to bounce back from these things.
