They happen to everyone. Injuries are the kind of thing that can stop a wrestler in their tracks. As talented as wrestlers can be, there is only so much that they can do to protect themselves from injuries. Some of them are a lot worse than others, with some of them putting a wrestler on the shelf anywhere from days to forever. Hopefully the latest will not be so bad.

NXT UK has turned into one of the better wrestling promotions in the world at the moment and that is something that should make fans happy. They have some very talented performers and have managed to put together some very good matches and even better moments. Their weekly TV show has become one of the best around but one of their top stars is a bit banged up.

Over the Top Wrestling has sent out a tweet announcing that Tyler Bate will not be wrestling on their Dead On event on Sunday February 23. At the moment it is not clear when Bate was injured or what is wrong with him. Bate’s most recent match took place on January 31 at an independent show in England. There is also no word on when Bate will be back in the ring.

Bate is a heck of a performer. Check out some of his NXT UK stuff:

Opinion: I’m not sure how bad this is but any injury is a bad thing. Hopefully he winds up being ok because it’s never a good thing to put him on the shelf. Bate has turned into one of the aces of the show and could be a top star on any show. That’s a level of talent you don’t see anywhere and Bate is doing it before he is even twenty three years old. You don’t see that happening and it’s rather amazing.

What do you think of Bate? When will he be on the main WWE roster? Let us know in the comments below.
