WWE Has Some TV Issues After WrestleMania 37

They might want to get on that. One of the bigger surprising stories of the year so far has been the announcement of the next three WrestleManias. WWE has never done this before and it is going to allow some fans to make some plans for a long time going forward. At the same time though, it opens up some important questions for WWE and they might not have an answer just yet.

WrestleMania weekend is as stacked of a set of shows as you are going to see. The WWE side alone has all kinds of options, with WrestleMania itself as the centerpiece, but the television shows around the event are incredible as well. The Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania is one of the most important nights of the year, but now things might be a little different.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE currently does not have a venue in place for the Monday Night Raw (April 12) or SmackDown (April 16) after WrestleMania 37. Tropicana Field will not be available due to the Tampa Bay Rays baseball games. Tampa’s Amalie Arena would be available for the week, but the Tampa Bay Lightning hockey team would be back the following week. There is no word on WWE’s long term plans for television.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise but with news of fans being allowed at WrestleMania, it makes you wonder how much longer it will be before WWE is back on the road. Even moving around Florida would be an improvement and if they can get a few thousand people into a building, things are going to be looking up. If nothing else just shaking up the look of a show will help, and the post WrestleMania shows need the boost.
