That’s some special merchandising. WWE has all kinds of merchandise and that has been the case for decades. If there is one thing that the company knows how to do, it is finding a way to make fans want something they see on television. That is the kind of thing that can make WWE a lot of money, and in this case we have some more money being involved in the whole thing.
There are a lot of ways to watch WWE and while some may be cheaper than others, they almost all cost money. That is something that is never going to change and while you might be able to save a few dollars here and there, at the end of the day, you are going to pay to watch something WWE related whether you like it or not. Now though, you can pay with something that looks like WWE.
In association with NetSpend, WWE has unveiled a line of prepaid Mastercards featuring a variety of options, including Randy Savage, Becky Lynch, New Day and more. The cards were announced earlier this week and do not seem to offer any kind of special bonuses for WWE fans. There is no word on if there will be any different Superstar options made available in the future.

This actually isn’t an original idea. Check out WCW’s version from back in the late 1990s:
Opinion: I’m not sure how well these things are going to work but it’s not like there is anything wrong with them. Since they are prepaid there is hardly anything that can get someone in serious trouble. It’s a nice little novelty idea and if WWE can make some money off of it or at least get their brand out there a little bit more, it should be a nice bonus for them.
