I think they’ll take her. The Women’s Revolution has done wonders for WWE over the last five years and it shows no sign of slowing down. That is one of the best things that could have happened to the company as the women’s division went from little more than a joke to something that headlined WrestleMania. Before things got started though, some people had to blaze a trail and one of those people might be getting back on that trail.

If you ask most of the modern women’s wrestlers about their inspiration to get in the ring, one of the common names that comes up is Lita. It isn’t hard to see why, as Lita was one of the most unique women’s wrestlers of all time and a high flier like no one had ever seen. Couple that with a great charisma and a unique look and it was easy to see why she was so popular. Now that popularity might get to grow again.

Lita was a guest on Corey Graves’ After The Bell podcast where she was asked about a potential return to the ring. While she said that it was not something she absolutely had to do, Lita said that it would be a fun thing to do and a great thing to add to her resume. At the same time, Lita said that she was not needed at the moment so she was fine with sitting back and watching everyone else. She would be willing to wrestle again under the right circumstances though.

Lita was quite a star in her own day. Check out some of her highlights:

Opinion: I like Lita’s attitude on this as she is right in that WWE does not need her to get in the ring again. At the same time though, it would be nice to see a battle of the generations, as Lita was certainly an influence on a lot of the current wrestlers. Seeing her get back in the ring would be cool though, as it isn’t like you get to see the current generation against the generation that inspired them.
