Sometimes you need a break. There are a lot of people who help run WWE’s television product and that can make for a very deep selection of resources. With so many veterans backstage, WWE wrestlers are going to be able to get quite the selection of help when it is needed. However, some of that help is going to be going away for a bit due to some health issues.
Tag team wrestling has undergone a bit of a resurgence in wrestling in recent years and that is a good thing. While it might not become the top attraction in any major company, tag team wrestling can offer a nice addition to almost any show. It can help to have a veteran tag team wrestler helping produce the division, but now WWE might be needing a replacement for the time being.
During a recent edition of his Table Talk podcast, D-Von Dudley has announced that he is taking some time away from his job as a WWE producer to deal with some health issues. Dudley did not reveal what kind of health issues he is dealing with or how much time he will be missing from WWE. Dudley has been working for the company as a producer since after his retirement in September 2016.
He has quite the history. Check out what Dudley has done in his career:
Opinion: Above all else, Dudley’s health is what matters here and hopefully he is good enough to come back to work sooner rather than later with no troubles in either the short or the long term. He has been around for a long time now and having him there can help a lot of people on the WWE roster. Who else does WWE have with that kind of tag team success? Dudley seems to be good at his job, so hopefully everything winds up being ok.
What do you think of Dudley? Who is your favorite tag team of all time? Let us know in the comments below.
