Keep them apart. The WWE Draft took place back in October and is going to have widespread effects on how the companies two main rosters look for a good while to come. This is something that takes place every year and as a result, WWE knows a bit about what it is doing to keep things as they need to be. That was the case with a certain move, which had more to do with someone else entirely.

Since August, there has been no one hotter in WWE than Roman Reigns. After returning to the company at Summerslam and winning the Universal Title at Payback, Reigns has been completely unstoppable and run roughshod over SmackDown. There are very few people on the show who can hold a candle to him, which is partially due to a specific move made in the WWE Draft.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bray Wyatt was moved to Monday Night Raw to prevent him from being around Reigns. The idea was that Wyatt and Reigns being on the same show would require that they feud with each other and that would have only hurt Reigns. There is no word on if the two are planned for a feud in the future. Reigns took the Universal Title from Wyatt in a triple threat also involving Braun Strowman.

The two have had some issues. Check out some of their history:

Opinion: I can understand this and it shows a good example of WWE thinking ahead for once. They’re absolutely right that at some point, Reigns and Wyatt would have to face each other if they stayed on the same show. That does not exactly fit Reigns’ current direction and WWE would be very wise to get rid of the potential issue by moving Wyatt over to Monday Night Raw. Making Reigns look invulnerable is key to his rise at the moment and Fiend would be a serious threat to that situation.
