I’d call that a problem. One of the more important stories of the WWE year has been the company being forced to move around to various temporary homes thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic. That is the kind of thing that you don’t see every year and now WWE is on the move again, though this time around they might have a completely unique problem.
Over the last few months, WWE has been holding its television shows inside the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. The venue is an NBA sized arena and it has offered a different kind of venue, as WWE uses virtual fans during the shows. That venue is only going to last for so long though as the NBA season is starting back up. The next stop is Tropicana Field, which has something else for WWE to figure out.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE will have to deal with issues involving the stadium’s sound, which will be harder to wire than the Amway Center. Another problem with the stadium is a flock of pigeons which lives in the dome of the stadium. It is not clear how WWE is going to be able to deal with this or what will happen if the birds fly near the ring during a show. WWE moves into Tropicana Field on December 10.
WWE has had its share of birds. Check out some of the better ones:
Opinion: This is one of those things that is only going to happen with a place like this and it makes things that much more interesting. In a way it comes with the territory and given all of the benefits that WWE is going to have from having a stadium at its disposal for several months, they kind of have to live with this. It also helps that WWE will probably not have to worry about them very often, but it is kind of charming in a way.
Will this be a problem for WWE? How can they deal with it? Let us know in the comments below.
