Of course there’s still time. We are on the way to Takeover: WarGames and the top of the card has been set. The show will feature a pair of WarGames matches, but at the same time you are going to need something else to flesh out the rest of the card. That is something that NXT knows how to do rather well and now they have added something else with some violence included.

There are several feuds taking place in NXT at the moment and some of them are a little more prominent than others. You can see a few of them changing every week and a few of them get quite a bit of attention. One such feud is Dexter Lumis vs. Cameron Grimes, which has been one of the odder feuds in recent months. Lumis has gone after Grimes more than ones, sending Grimes running away. That won’t be a problem next time.

This week on NXT, General Manager William Regal announced that Lumis and Grimes will face each other in a strap match at Takeover: WarGames. The match will see the two bound together at the wrist by a leather strap to prevent either from getting too far away from the other. This comes after Grimes ran away from Lumis during their blindfold match and then again after Lumis appeared behind Grimes in the ring. Lumis pulled out the strap to signal the match.

He sounds nervous. Check out Grimes’ reaction to the decision:

Opinion: This is a logical way to go in the feud, as Grimes has done everything he can to escape Lumis so far. Now all they need to do is find a way to wrap the story up as it has kind of gone on long enough already. They haven’t had the best matches yet either, but Grimes has been an absolute treat to watch throughout. Figure out the right ending and they should be able to escape just fine.
