Well the price is right. There are very few things in wrestling that have changed the game like the WWE Network. Wrestling has never been so accessible and that is one of the best things that wrestling fans can hear. In addition to having the modern WWE events included, fans can also see the old school library at the same time. All this comes for $9.99 a month, or at least it did.
WWE has built the entire Network around the idea of $9.99 a month. That’s a great price and the kind of thing that makes a great talking point for the service. It’s rather cheap and something that makes it sound like a bargain. While there have been discussions of changing the price to a tiered system, nothing has come of it yet. However, we might be seeing a bit of a shift.
WWE has announced that they are offering fans free access to the WWE Network for a limited time. The offer includes access to all editions of the Big Four pay per views, Takeovers, several documentaries, Broken Skull Sessions, recent Monday Night Raw’s and recent SmackDown’s, plus more. There is no word on how long this offer will last and there is no credit card required.
Well that works. Here’s some of what you can see on the Network in full:
Opinion: In light of the spread of the Coronavirus, this is the kind of thing that a lot of streaming and entertainment services have been offering. That’s a very good thing to have as well and hopefully it continues for a good while. If nothing else, it might make fans want to buy the full version of the Network because of everything available. I’ve been a subscriber since the service began and hopefully it continues to grow even more than it already has.
