They don’t seem happy. There are a lot of people who keep WWE running and that is the kind of structure that can get complicated in a hurry. With so many different bosses running around, there comes a point where you are going to get some kind of confusion in the whole situation. That seems to be the case at the moment and some wrestlers are not thrilled with what is going on.
Of the many stories this year, one of the more interesting ones saw Paul Heyman removed as the Executive Director of Monday Night Raw. That is the kind of thing that can shake up the company in a hurry and that was exactly what wound up happening. Bruce Prichard wound up running both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown, which has not exactly gone well with everyone involved.
According to PWInsider.com, Prichard is considered the most powerful person in all of WWE outside of the McMahon family. This has led to frustration among the wrestlers, who are not happy with the way things have been going and blame Prichard, who has been leading the creative direction of the television shows along with Vince McMahon. Prichard is said to be able to convince McMahon that what he is presenting works and is said to be “the gospel” for McMahon.
Prichard is someone with a history in WWE. Check out what he has done on screen:
Opinion: This is hardly the biggest surprise as WWE has not exactly been on fire as of late. Prichard has a reputation of being a yes man to McMahon and if that is the case again, I can’t say I blame the roster for being upset. Things have been a mess as of late and that seems to be the case for the time being. Hopefully things can improve, but it might take some time to get there.
