That’s a big change. Over the last month or so, WWE has undergone the biggest shakeup in the company’s history. Vince McMahon is no longer the major force in the company, meaning the company is under some drastically different leadership. That is the kind of change that the company has been waiting on for a long time now and it seems to have had quite the impact backstage.
According to PWInsider.com, the backstage atmosphere in WWE has completely changed, with the “walking on eggshells” feeling under McMahon completely gone. Now the general mood is one of hope and pride in working for the company. In addition, the production team is said to be much more relaxed, with members acting like it is fun to work in WWE again. There is also said to be no more yelling in the truck or at the announcers.
Opinion: That really does sound like a world of difference between the two regimes and I can’t imagine how much better things must feel in WWE. What matters the most is that things have improved and maybe that can even continue into the future. WWE has operated under McMahon’s style for so long that it must be hard to fathom anything new, meaning this must be a huge change of pace.
