She would know. Two years ago, the Coronavirus changed the way the world worked and wrestling was no exception. Several companies were unable to run live shows and WWE was forced to move into the Thunderdome for several months. The restrictions over the pandemic have mostly been dropped now though, but there are still some issues that need to be solved. One WWE star is now saying that she is not part of the problem.

Last week, Nikkita Lyons was pulled from the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title tournament as she was deemed “medically unavailable”. This was reportedly due to Lyons not being vaccinated against the Coronavirus. However, Lyons has since responded to a fan on Twitter asking about the situation. Lyons said that her absence from SmackDown had nothing to do with the vaccine and said she might explain what was wrong one day.

Opinion: This is a situation where WWE and Lyons both know what is going on and unless one of them says something, it is likely going to remain a health secret. There could have been a variety of issues that kept Lyons out of the match and she says that it is not due to her vaccination status. It would be nice to have Lyons back in the ring sooner or later, and hopefully it does not take that long.

What do you think of Lyons? Who should she face next in NXT? Let us know in the comments below.
