It’s time for the new blood. Back in October, WWE launched its new NXT UK brand, featuring some of the best talents from around the United Kingdom and Europe. With the new territory open for business, it was a matter of time before some fresh names were brought in. These announcements are some of the most interesting that WWE has to offer and they’re at it again.

WWE.com has announced the official signings of five new talents to the NXT UK brand, some of which have wrestled for WWE before. The main names signed are:

Ilja Dragunov, a twenty five year old Russian star who has recently appeared for Progress wrestling. Dragumov is a very athletic wrestler who works a fast paced style and took Pete Dunne to the limit at a Progress show back in September, followed by a win over Tyler Bate soon thereafter.

Jazzy Gabert, who wrestled in the Mae Young Classic and is better known as the Alpha Female. Gabert has appeared for Impact wrestling and stands 6’1, making her one of the bigger women on the roster. She appeared in the crowd at NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool back in January.

In addition to these two, the other three signings wereKay Lee Ray (of the Mae Young Classic), Oliver Saunter (a former soccer player) and Jay Melrose, who has wrestled on NXT UK as Primate. There is no no word on when any of these five signees will appear on NXT UK TV.

Gabert has made quite the impression so far. Check her out in the Mae Young Classic:

Dragumov can certainly go. Check him out in a match from WXW:

Let’s see how he can do against the champs. Check out Melrose in a tag match from NXT UK:

Opinion: There’s something very cool to see about these new wrestlers showing up in NXT, even if a lot of them have already appeared for WWE. Dragunov is quite the surprise as he made a big impression during his time in Progress and could be quite the star going forward. NXT UK has already made several steps forward and some new names could be the next big move that they need to make.
