What a surprise. AEW is one of the most interesting case studies in wrestling in the last several decades. The company has not even been around for two years yet and have become one of the biggest and most alluring wrestling promotions in the world. There are a lot of younger and older wrestlers who want in, but it turns out that there are a few other people who are going to be around as well.

One of the more interesting things about AEW has been the amount of names from years past who have been brought back to television, which is the kind of thing that can bring up some interesting memories. Some of these names are more interesting than others but when you get someone who gets the audience’s attention. That was the case earlier this week and now he has made a return.

It was a cool cameo. Check out what happened this week:

This week on AEW Dynamite, Eric Bischoff returned to the show, appearing in a Town Hall segment between Maxwell Jacob Friedman and the Inner Circle. Bischoff was one of the people asking questions to the two of them, including asking why anyone would believe that Friedman would not turn on Jericho. This is Bischoff’s second appearance with the company after he moderated the debate between Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy on the August 5 edition of Dynamite.

Opinion: Bischoff is an interesting person to bring in as he certainly has a history in wrestling and on TNT in particular. I don’t think Bischoff is going to be around full time and he probably shouldn’t be, but he is someone who can go out and get a point across as a good on-screen character. For a one off appearance though, there is nothing wrong with having him around and everything worked out well here.

What do you think of Bischoff? Do you want him around more often? Let us know in the comments below.
