The Rock made a surprise appearance on this week’s SmackDown, interrupting an opening segment between Austin Theory and Pat McAfee, the latter of whom was also appearing as a surprise. Theory and Rock traded insults about SmackDown being “the people’s show” before Rock laid Theory out. Rock and McAfee both gave Theory People’s Elbows. Opinion: Yeah I’d say the Rock making a cameo on Smackdown in a total surprise is a good way to get some interest going. What he did wasn’t important, as all fans are going to remember is that the Rock showed up out of nowhere.
