Back later? Over the last three years, no one in WWE has approached the status of Roman Reigns. Over the course of his three plus year reign as Universal Champion, Reigns has defeated all kinds of challengers and headlined multiple WrestleManias. That is the kind of run that you do not see from almost anyone in history and there is nothing to suggest that Reigns is going to be stopped anytime soon. However, we might have an idea of where Reigns will not be.

WWE has released the poster for the 2024 Royal Rumble on January 27, which does not include Reigns. While this could be changed and is merely speculation at this point, Reigns is currently not advertised for the show. Reigns did not wrestle at Payback and is not expected to wrestle at Fastlane next month. He is however currently advertised for Survivor Series and there is a chance he could wrestle at Crown Jewel on November 4.

Opinion: This is just kind of what Reigns does these days and while it is hard to fathom, it is kind of how things go. Reigns does not wrestle on a regular basis and his title defenses are becoming rarer and rarer. As a result, his title reign has been able to expand further than any in a generation, but at the same time there it does not exactly allow for the most interesting stretches of time.
