Another Reason: Interesting Detail On Matt Riddle’s WWE Absence

That’s a better reason. Wrestlers have quite the hectic schedule and it can be difficult to keep track of what all of them are doing from time to time. While they regularly make it to their shows as scheduled, there are times when things have to be changed at the last minute for one reason or another. That took place again this week, but it does not seem to be for the suspected reasons.

Earlier this week, WWE’s Matt Riddle made an Instagram post, accusing a Port Authority officer of sexual assault at JFK airport. Following the accusations, Riddle was pulled from this week’s Monday Night Raw and a pair of upcoming live events. However, according to Wrestling Observer Radio, the absence was due to illness, including a double ear infection and bronchitis. There is no word on when Riddle is expected to return to WWE TV.

Opinion: This would make things seem a lot better for Riddle, though we’ll have to see when he actually comes back to television. Riddle has had a lot of out of the ring issues, some of which have not been his fault. That being said, there is going to come a point where WWE does not want to deal with the drama that comes with him anymore and we might be approaching that point.
