He was being a hero. Wrestlers are the kind of people you do not get to see in person very often so it is a special treat to be at a show live. Other countries outside of the United States has an even harder time getting to see wrestlers in person. It can be special if you see something out of the ordinary, which was the case this week and involved a fan being kept safe.
Following a match in Birmingham, England, Orton was greeting fans at ringside. As Orton was walking around, he noticed a young fan being crushed against the barricade. Orton asked the adult fans to back up and made sure that the fan was ok. He also spoke to the fan a bit before continuing to shake hands with other fans. Orton had teamed with Riddle to retain the Raw Tag Team Titles against Robert Roode/Dolph Ziggler and the Street Profits.
It was a cool moment. Check out what Orton did, plus what he can do in the ring:
Opinion: This is one of those things that you do not get to see very often but it is rather cool when it happens. Orton saw that something was wrong and needed to do something to make it better. He wasn’t rude or mean, but wanted to do something to make sure that the kid was ok. I would like to believe that more wrestlers would do that, but it was nice to see someone actually do it.
What do you think of Orton? How long will RKBro hold the Raw Tag Team Titles? Let us know in the comments below.
