Watch: John Cena Promotes Nintendo Switch

His time really is now. John Cena has exploded onto the mainstream in recent months and is becoming one of the most well known wrestlers of all time. Between hosting award shows, appearing in various movies and hosting “Saturday Night Live”, Cena is now starting to be used as a pitchman more often.

That’s the case now as well with Cena being used in a new video promoting the Nintendo Switch. In the video, Cena is shown playing the game in a building on top of a mountain. The Switch was released this week. Here’s the video from Nintendo’s official YouTube channel:

Opinion: It’s certainly a big time for Cena as he’ll also be hosting the 2017 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards over the weekend. Cena may not be appearing as much in WWE but he’s certainly making his mark around the world. You can’t expect Cena to be around WWE forever and he’s more than earned a spot in the mainstream like this. He’s still around WWE enough and that’s something to enjoy while it lasts.
