The Real AJ Lee Comments On Her Movie Counterpart

She’s not wrong. Earlier this week we heard that the Rock was starting to film the movie about Paige’s life entitled “Fighting With My Family”. That included taping after “Monday Night Raw” went off the air with a taping of a pretty famous Paige match: the night she debuted on the main roster and won the Women’s Title from AJ Lee.

As luck would have it, a video of the shoot has made its way onto Twitter and Lee herself has commented on it. In the scene, professional wrestler Thea Trinidad plays Lee and the real life version seems to approve of the casting. Here’s the video with Lee’s comments following.

Opinion: I can’t say I disagree with the comments about Trinidad’s looks and it’s a good idea to have a full time wrestler in a role like this. You can only teach an actress so much for a role like this and considering the match is only about a minute and a half long, the scene should be even more effective.
