Some things never change. There are a lot of moving parts in wrestling and a lot of those things can cause issues for a lot of people, especially in WWE. One of those issues is Vince McMahon, who is in charge of the whole company, which can be both a negative and a positive. While he certainly has some benefits, he can also cause some serious issues, which seems to have been the case this week.

According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet and Bryan Alvarez of Figure Four Daily, McMahon ordered a rewrite of this week’s SmackDown Live less than two hours to go before the show began. This is similar to what McMahon did with last week’s show, which was still being written all the way into the second hour. There is no word on why the show was rewritten.

According to PWInsider Elite by way of 411mania.com, McMahon changed the main event multiple times, with the original match being Kofi Kingston vs. Andrade. This was changed to Big E./Xavier Woods vs. Daniel Bryan/Rowan. On the other hand, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter says that the match was originally going to be Kingston vs. Andrade, which was then changed to Kingston/Woods vs. Bryan/Rowan. Kingston only appeared in a pretaped video.

Maybe it was something related to this. Check out the big angle to close the show:

Opinion: This is a problem for WWE and something that has been a problem for a long time. There is only so much that you can do when McMahon doesn’t like the show at the last minute and wants everything redone. There isn’t time to set things up or work out the kinks in the show, which can cause major problems when the show actually airs. Maybe McMahon knows best, but this is quite the stretch even for WWE.

How much of a problem is this for WWE? Will it ever be fixed? Let us know in the comments below.
