They’re in trouble? WWE has a long history of presenting tag teams, though they also have a history of those teams splitting up on a frequent basis. Several teams have seemingly been set up for the sake of being split up latter and that can make for some awkward situations. We might have seen that this week, even though the team is doing rather well at the moment.

This week’s SmackDown featured a match between Johnny Gargano and Grayson Waller. During the match, Waller was on the floor and pulled his partner Austin Theory in the way of a dive from Gargano. This is the latest bit of tension between the two, despite the team being the reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions. There is nothing to suggest that the two are splitting up soon, though the tensions are becoming apparent.
Can you see it? Check out the team in action lately:
Opinion: I’m not sure if the team is going to be splitting up anytime soon, but at the same time it doesn’t seem like they are on the same page. The idea of Theory giving up on Waller and becoming the good guy out of the whole thing is certainly interesting and an idea that we haven’t seen yet. For now though, we might just be seeing the two teasing dissension for the time being.
