They aren’t done yet. This past Sunday at Hell In A Cell, Randy Orton defeated Drew McIntyre to become WWE Champion. The title change comes after two previous pay per view matches between the two, including an ambulance match at Clash Of Champions. The two have been rather intensely violent against each other and it seems that things are not close to done yet.
This week’s Monday Night Raw featured the feud between Orton and McIntyre continuing, with McIntyre promising to get his title back. Later in the night, the two got into a brawl to end the show, with Orton dropping McIntyre onto the announcers’ table. That seemed to wrap up the night, but that was on the case in America, as things were not quite done when the broadcast ended.
You didn’t see this on the American Monday Night Raw. Check out what else happened on the show:
A video has come online showing additional footage from after Monday Night Raw went off the air in America. In the clip, McIntyre fights back on the announcers’ table and stabs a pen into Orton’s eye. Orton does not bleed but does hold his eye as McIntyre continues to attack him to end the night. There is no word on if this will be referenced on next week’s show.
Opinion: That does explain a few things as the show’s ended did feel a little abrupt. It is interesting to see McIntyre take the violence to another level as you don’t see him go there too often. I’m not sure how this feud is going to continue as Orton is already set up with Roman Reigns for Survivor Series and has the Fiend to deal with too. Maybe they have a big match on Monday Night Raw, but that would be a little out of the ordinary. This is more interesting though and I’ll take that.
