This isn’t something that should have a top ten. Tomorrow night, “Clash of Champions 2017” will see a featured match containing two guest referees. One of them will be “Smackdown Live” Commissioner Shane McMahon, who is part of a rather well known wrestling family. Somehow that family has acted as guest referees often enough that there’s a history package about the subject.
WWE has released a new Top Ten video looking at the history of the McMahon Family as special guest referees. There are various instances of everyone but Linda McMahon but including HHH acting as guest referees, many of which involve screwjobs in one form or another. Here’s the list:
McMahon Family moments as Special Guest Referees: WWE Top 10, Dec. 16 2017
Opinion: In case you needed any more proof that the McMahons might have been around a little too long, there’s a video of them being guest referees over the course of nearly twenty years. We’ll be seeing it again tomorrow night and there’s no reason to believe it won’t happen again at some point.
What do you think of the McMahon’s as guest referees? Should the idea be retired? Let us know in the comments below.
