It has been previously reported that Ronda Rousey’s move to WWE was “imminent” and that we would be seeing her in the company very soon.

However, a new report from TMZ Sports is saying that her debut may be much further off than we think.

According to the report, multiple independent sources from all sides of the deal say that  talks have not begun between the two parties. One source said the following:

“[Ronda’s team] hasn’t begun any negotiations with the WWE.”

Rousey has teased heading to WWE in the past, and even appeared in a backstage promo at the “Mae Young Classic:”

Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch & Bayley confront Ronda Rousey, M.Shafir & J. Duke: Sept. 5, 2017

The report also states that she is still training, and is preparing for her role in the upcoming film “Mile 22,” starring Mark Wahlberg.

Triple H has said that he is very interested in bringing Rousey to the company, and that the door was always open.

Editor’s Opinion:

I still think that this will be happening sooner rather than later. Rousey is clearly a fan of WWE and I think that she would be a great fit for the company. I’d love to see her against Charlotte Flair, Asuka, or any of the other fantastic talent!
