In the way of John Cena. Earlier this week, Roman Reigns won the Intercontinental Title for the first time in his career. The title win was a big moment and the fans seemed happy with it, but the question is who comes next. There are several people who could challenge Reigns for the title, but Reigns has a special idea in mind.

In a video just after Reigns won the title, Reigns said that he was planning on issuing an open challenge soon, possibly coming this week on “Monday Night Raw”. While no one has officially accepted the challenge, Cedric Alexander indicated via Twitter that he would be interested in challenging Reigns. You can see the announcement and Alexander’s response below:

Opinion: While I’m not sure if Alexander will actually accept the challenge, it’s cool to see the cruiserweights getting a chance to do something outside of just fighting each other in random matches that don’t really lead anywhere. Alexander would get likely be soundly defeated but it’s worth throwing him out there for the sake of some exposure.

Who do you think will answer the challenge? Who do you want to? Let us know in the comments below.
