Video: Johnny Impact (Johnny Mundo) Debuts in GFW

The champ is here. Global Force Wrestling has one of the most fluid rosters in wrestling and that can be a mixture of good and bad. The changes took place again this week as a major name has been added to the talent pool. Announced the previous week, he made his debut on this week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling”.

This week, Johnny Impact (better known as John Morrison or Johnny Mundo) made his debut as part of the Gauntlet for the Gold match for the GFW World Title. He’s currently the AAA Triple Crown Champion (holding the World Title, Cruiserweight Title and Latin American Championship) as well as the Lucha Underground Champion.

A Mundo by any other name would smell as sweet.

Opinion: I’m very happy with this signing as Impact (whose name has not been well received but for me it’s just more an issue of being confusing) has been on fire as of late and has completely resurrected his career. I could see him being brought back to WWE in the near future and his run with Global Force Wrestling would be a large part of that. His performance here was good and hopefully he can keep it up.
