Video: John Cena Addresses Crowd After “Raw”

He’s talking. John Cena is one of the biggest WWE stars of all time. While he might not be the most popular, there’s a star power to him that few others have ever had. He’s also a great talker and someone who can get a rise out of any crowd you put him in front of. That’s why he was put in the ring to close out the evening after “Monday Night Raw”.

After tonight’s show ended with Cena scoring the pinfall in the tag team main event, Cena addressed the fans in lieu of a dark match. Cena spoke about the fun the fans had, including the fans bringing out a beach ball and doing a wave. In short, Cena thought they were fun and that’s what mattered most. Here’s the full speech:

Opinion: I’m really not agreeing with Cena on this as I can’t stand the beach balls. I know I sound like the old grandfather on this but I don’t want to see someone doing stuff to bring attention to themselves rather than what I decided to watch/paid to see. It gets really annoying when I’m trying to enjoy a match and get into the story but have to lose focus because fans get bored in the stands. If you don’t like what you’re watching (and presumably paid to see), go do something else that entertains you more. Stop making it about yourselves and messing with the experience for everyone who wants to watch.
