So I take it she’s not a fan? Finishing moves are one of the most well known part of any wrestler’s career. That one move is theirs and often theirs alone, especially if it is something that has become iconic for them. Those moves are somewhat few and far between, but when you get one that is completely associated with someone, it can be something special. But what about when it is used on them?
It’s mostly outta nowhere. Check out Randy Orton taking his own finisher from an unlikely source:
A new video posted to Randy Orton’s Instagram page shows his wife giving him an RKO into the water. Orton is shown standing up from the water and getting pulled into it with an RKO, playing up the RKO Outta Nowhere meme. Orton is currently on a short vacation with his family before he challenges Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship on Sunday at Summerslam.
If that’s not your style, maybe this is. Check some of the best RKOs of all time:
Opinion: This isn’t anything revolutionary but it’s certainly something that is different enough that you don’t see it every day. The RKO is one of those moves that has become special in wrestling as not only has it been protected but Orton has managed to be able to hit it out of any angle on anyone. Having someone do it to him is a nice little moment and made for a funny video.
Will Orton win the title on Sunday? What is your favorite RKO? Let us know in the comments below.
