You may not want to do that. There are a lot of different kinds of people in wrestling with some being nicer than others. You may hear a lot of things about how the wrestlers are outside of the ring, but there are times where you can see them doing something and get an impression out of them. That was the case over the weekend when a wrestler did not like something he heard.
Over the weekend, Sami Zayn was ringside as Shinsuke Nakamura faced off with Bray Wyatt in a steel cage match. A fan began calling Zayn a “Canadian f*****”, using a homophobic slur. Zayn demanded that the fan get out of his face. Security would later remove the fan from the arena while the cage match continued. There is no word on if he will be punished in any other way.
There is no place for homophobic insults anywhere, especially in wrestling. I really hope that "fan" gets banned from wrestling events FOREVER after calling Sami Zayn "Canadian faggot" over and over and over again during a live event. DISGUSTING!!

And of course there is video. Check out Zayn yelling at the fan and the fan leaving:
Opinion: I can’t say I blame Zayn for something like this. That isn’t something that anyone needs to hear and pretty clearly something that he cares about. There is no reason for a fan to say something like that and it is hardly the kind of thing that is going to be tolerated. Zayn was right to get rid of him and luckily he did nothing more than yell at the fan rather than get physical, which would just get him in trouble. It was well handled, which is always a good sign.
What do you think of Zayn? When will he get back in the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
