Violence is rarely the answer. Jon Moxley left WWE earlier this year and immediately debuted with AEW as the big moment at the end of Double Or Nothing. With that out of the way though, he debuted in New Japan Pro Wrestling and won the United States Title. Since then, he entered the G1 Climax Tournament and has turned up the intensity even more, which was even cleared at a recent press conference.
New Japan has released a new video of Moxley’s post match press conference, where he ranted about the lack of air conditioning in some of the venues. He also grabbed some of the reporters and asked them who was going to win the tournament. Moxley’s videos have been big hits for New Japan, with a previous video of his from last month being the most watched video in the history of New Japan’s YouTube channel.
The man gets attention. Check out Moxley’s antics from earlier today:
Opinion: Whether you like him or not, the man certainly knows how to get some attention for himself. This is the Moxley that we weren’t going to get in WWE and it shows just how good he could have been there had they let him be himself. Moxley might not be for everyone, but he’s more than a big deal in New Japan all of a sudden and is likely going to be in a big match at the biggest non-WWE event of the year. Not bad for a rookie year in a promotion.
