Video: Biggest Summerslam Returns

Guess who’s back. One of the most entertaining things that you can see is a wrestler returning from a long hiatus. It’s very exciting to hear the music start playing and realizing that someone you haven’t seen in a long time is coming through the curtain. You’ll often see that at a major show and Summerslam is no exception.

WWE has put together a video of the five best Summerslam returns. Most of these are from recent years but one is much older than the others and offers a bit of a change of pace. Not all of them are surprise returns though as some of them were announced in advance as selling points of the show. Here’s the list:

Opinion: I’m not big on lists like this one as they pretty clearly just looked at various recent names and big stars without putting much thought into it. Hulk Hogan’s return at “Summerslam 1990” was the centerpiece of the show but Nikki Bella gets the first spot on the list? It’s not asking too much to put some more effort into something like this.
