WWE’s 20 for 30. In about six months, Undertaker will have been in WWE for thirty years. That’s a level of longevity that almost no one has ever approached, let alone reached. No one makes it that long and Undertaker is still capable of having a pretty decent match despite being fifty five years old. WWE knows what kind of a legend he is and they are giving him the special treatment.
There is no hiding the fact that Undertaker’s career is starting to wind down. After so long in the ring, such a move is inevitable and that is something WWE seems to be acknowledging. Between the Last Ride documentary and everything WWE has been saying about him as of late, Undertaker is getting the hero’s treatment that he deserves. That was on display again this Friday.
He’s worth the look. Check out WWE’s latest tribute:
WWE has uploaded a new video looking at 20 facts about Undertaker’s career. The video looks back at the entirety of Undertaker’s time in the company, starting with his debut at Survivor Series 1990 and coming all the way up to modern times. The Streak is mentioned as well, along with Undertaker’s accomplishments in the WWE. There is no word on when Undertaker will next wrestle.
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that we should be seeing a lot more of in the coming months as Undertaker is someone with enough of a legacy to fill in a lot of history. WWE has treated Undertaker like a legend for a very long time now and I can’t imagine that not being the case for a long time to come. After all the time that Undertaker has spent in the company, I would certainly think he has earned it.
