Updated List of Royal Rumble Participants

Add them to the list. With less than four weeks until “Royal Rumble 2017”, the names are starting to pile up for the big match. As we came into this week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw”, two of the top names were already set with Goldberg and Brock Lesnar already entered. During the course of the night, five more names were added, starting with New Day.

In addition to those three, the show closed with Chris Jericho and Braun Strowman both being added to the match. This brings the total up to seven, leaving twenty three names to be added. Of note about Jericho, WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens wasn’t pleased with his best friend potentially being the next challenger for the title, especially in a match at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”.

I like the fact that these are some bigger names being added to the match. Jericho is a potential dark horse candidate and Strowman is actually probably a favorite to win the whole thing. It’s clear that WWE is very interested in pushing him as a huge monster and a big push, even a win, in the Royal Rumble could be the big break he needs.
