It’s the standard operating procedure at this point. It’s been said that WWE doesn’t know many ways to tell stories and one of their favorites has always been a good old fashioned contract signing. That’s necessary for the upcoming “Royal Rumble 2017” as we’ve got a Smackdown World Title match to set up.

Last week on “Smackdown Live”, John Cena issued a challenge to the winner of the triple threat for the Smackdown World Title. That would wind up being AJ Styles, who successfully defended his title against Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler in the main event. The title match was quickly set up for the pay per view where Styles and Cena will meet for the third time after Styles defeated Cena twice in 2016.

These things are where the two of them are going to be at their best because it’s a talking segment that will wind up being a brawl. They’ve had some great matches before and I’m sure the third one will be just as good. Just let them talk and then do their thing because it’s going to be entertaining no matter what these two do in the ring.
