No one? There were a lot of stories taking place in WWE last year. Some of these were a lot bigger than others but it could be interesting to see where a good many of them go in the future. During such a busy year, it is natural that some of the stories are going to be forgotten, but now one of them is flaring up again with a bit of a surprising fallout for the main person involved.
One of the more interesting stories from the year was over WWE’s ban on third party platforms, including Twitch. This did not sit well with several of the wrestlers, who made their negative opinions known. It certainly seemed like a big deal at the time, but only one wrestler was ever released from the company as a result. Now we know a bit more about what has happened to her since.
According to Fightful Select, no wrestling company has expressed interest in signing Zelina Vega despite her ninety day no compete clause expiring this week. There is no word on why this is the case, though it could change at any point. Vega both wrestled and managed for WWE, mainly appearing on Monday Night Raw with Angel Garza and Andrade. She is married to WWE start Aleister Black.
Opinion: This is more than a little confusing as you would think that Vega would be worth bringing in somewhere as a manager if nothing else. I’m sure that someone will want to sign her at some point, as there will be more than one promotion willing to bring her in and let her do what she wants on Twitch. Vega is a young veteran at 30 years old and very talented, so I have no idea why she would be out of work for very long unless she wanted to be.
