He really is that handsome. Ever since Rusev lost the United States Title for the second time, he hasn’t exactly had much going for him. He’s certainly taken a fall down the card and that doesn’t give fans the most confidence in his future. To make matters worse, Rusev broke his nose and has been forced to wear a face guard in recent weeks. However, things might be getting better.

According to “Wrestling Observer Radio” by way of 411mania.com, Rusev is no longer wearing the face guard at house shows. He’s still been wearing it on “Monday Night Raw” though, which may be due to the threat of a shot to the nose causing heavy bleeding. WWE is doing everything it can to keep blood off of its shows.

Opinion: As disappointed as I am in seeing Rusev treated like any run of the mill goon in a tag team with Jinder Mahal, I’m glad that he’s getting better. The Handsome Rusev stuff has potential and might get Rusev back on track. If nothing else having Lana swoon over him should get people jealous of him, which is a step up.
