The biggest story coming out of Monday’s Raw was what happened after the show went off the air, as The Rock called CM Punk in front of the live crowd.

But, The Rock also appeared before the show went on the air, and he was confronted by WWE chairman Vince McMahon.

Towards the end of The Rock’s pre-show appearance, McMahon interrupted and “fired” him. Needless to say, he didn’t really fire The Rock. It was just part of the entertainment portion of the program.

As of this writing, WWE hasn’t posted the video of Vince firing The Rock. However, an audience member did capture the moment and tweet it out. You can check it out below.

The Rock was at Raw to film a scene for the movie Fighting with my Family, which focuses on former Divas Champion Paige’s journey to WWE. He was never supposed to appear on television, but he did want to do a spot for the live crowd at the Staples Center.

We don’t know when The Rock will appear on Raw next, but we do know that he’ll be at WrestleMania on April 2.
