Live Fans Will See a Special Match After Raw Tonight

They might have been jobbers in NXT, but they’re on WWE’s main stage tonight.

As previously reported, the Rock will be backstage at Raw tonight as part of production for the upcoming film about Paige and her family. It seems that portions of the movie will be filmed in front of the live audience tonight, including a big match between two prolific indie stars who have previously appeared in NXT.

Rock made an Instagram post earlier today including an image of the pair training. Thea Trinidad will be portraying “our Divas Champion” and Tessa Blanchard will be “our bad ass ring/stunt double,” presumably filling in for Florence Pugh as Paige.

It’s tough to fill an arena, so taking advantage of an existing Raw crowd makes a lot of sense. If you’re going to be at the Staples Center tonight, enjoy your shot at big-screen immortality.

We know Rock himself will make a cameo in the film, but we don’t know if he’ll make an appearance on Raw tonight. It seems a safe assumption that he’ll appear in some form in front of the live audience, since it hasn’t exactly been a secret that he’ll be backstage tonight.
