That’s a big relief. You never know what can happen when someone gets injured in wrestling. An injury can range anywhere from not too bad to devastating and all points in between. These things come out of nowhere and one of the worst parts is sitting around waiting to see just how bad they can get. This time around though, we got to find out pretty early.
On Monday night, Asuka was injured in a match against Mandy Rose at a SmackDown house show. The injury was so bad that the match had to be stopped, though there was no word on how bad the situation was. Asuka has since updated her status via Twitter, where she said that she does not have a concussion or a neck injury. There is no word on what is wrong with Asuka or if she will miss any ring time. She is scheduled to defend the title against Rose at Fastlane on Sunday.
It is neither a concussion nor a neck.

Here’s what a healthy Asuka can do. Check out her fight with Becky Lynch earlier this year:
Opinion: That’s some great news to hear as Asuka doesn’t seem to be too badly injured. Of course things could change, but we should know some more details in the coming days. Asuka is one of the more valuable people on SmackDown Live due to her unique look and incredible skills, many of which are unmatched by anyone in WWE. Hopefully she’s fine as it would be a big blow if she was out of the ring for awhile.
What is next for Asuka? Who will take the title from her? Let us know in the comments below.
