Uh oh, maybe? You never know when someone might get hurt in wrestling and that’s what makes it so dangerous. Every single night, wrestlers go out there and put their bodies on the line and the danger is there for everyone from the top stars in the world and down to lower places like NXT. That might be the case for someone on the NXT roster and that person happens to be in a pretty big spot on the Takeover: Chicago card this coming weekend.

In a match in Paris, France earlier this week, Ricochet banged up his shoulder on a dive. The crash, which you can see in the video above, saw Ricochet land hard on the entrance ramp during a tag team match between Ricochet and Johnny Gargano vs. Velveteen Dream and Tommaso Ciampa. Ricochet is currently scheduled to face Velveteen Dream on Saturday’s Takeover: Chicago II card. However, according to 411mania.com, Triple H announced during the Takeover media call that Ricochet tweaked his shoulder but is good to go for Saturday.

Ricochet will be in action on Saturday. Check out our full results from this week’s NXT to see how things will be going.

Opinion: I can’t say I was surprised to hear that Ricochet may have injured himself. He wrestled a very high flying style and while he’s incredible with movement, there’s never a way to do everything completely safe. Thankfully this seems to be minor and the match is still on, but it wouldn’t surprise me if the match was a little bit slower paced than it was going to be coming into the week. If nothing else, Ricochet is more than capable of wrestling a very good match without being so incredibly risky so things should be a lot of fun no matter what.

How far can Ricochet go in NXT? What is his most impressive move? Let us know in the comments below.
