Yes all of them. NXT has a unique role in the wrestling world as the show is not just there as its own third band for WWE, but also as the company’s official developmental program. The main goal of NXT is to get wrestlers ready for the main roster and sometimes that is easier said than done. It means something when a wrestler is called up and now we might be seeing three of them do it at once.
Last week’s NXT saw Tony D’Angelo defeat Santos Escobar, resulting in Escobar leaving NXT without the rest of his Legado del Fantasma stable. However, after losing a match on this week’s show, the rest of Legado del Fantasma left the building but found Escobar waiting in the parking lot. Escobar said that family sticks together and the entire team drove away. While not confirmed, there is a chance that this means the team could go to the main roster as a unit, though there is no guarantee that anyone is leaving NXT.
Opinion: This is a different way to go and I’m curious about what is happening. The main positive here is that Legado seems to have a future, as the rest of the team is better with Escobar than without him. At the same time, I’m not sure if Escobar is better with them and could have gone for him having a singles run on the main roster. There are a few options here and I want to see where it goes, so well done on accomplishing the top goal.
