They’re in. WWE has long since been the biggest and most powerful wrestling promotion in the world. They have built up a huge audience and a lot of that has been due to their wrestlers. The company has all kinds of talent on its roster, but that means some wrestlers have to be cycled out on occasion. Those wrestlers often wind up elsewhere and now that has happened to two more names.

Two former WWE names made their AEW debuts this week at the Dark tapings in Orlando, Florida. Both Westin Blake, formerly known as Wesley Blake, and Levis Valenzuela Jr, formerly known as No Way Jose, debuted at the tapings. Blake was released from WWE in 2021 and Valenzuela in 2020. There is no word on when the shows will air or if the two are going to be in AEW on a regular basis.

Opinion: These names came out of the blue, but we’ll have to see if they are given the chance to go anywhere with AEW. There is every chance that this could be little more than the two getting a tryout with the company to see how well they fit. That isn’t the worst idea as you never know what you might find. I don’t know if I can see the two of them being breakout stars, but at least they are getting something of a shot.

What do you think of the appearances? Will they do well in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
