Another one wants out. This year, there have been several names who have been trying to get out of their WWE contracts. For one reason or another, these wrestlers are not happy with their spot in WWE and want to try their hand elsewhere. Some of these have had better luck than others, but WWE is not the only company with this issue. As it turns out, a prominent name wants out of another big company.
According to PWInsider.com, Killer Kross has asked for his release from Impact Wrestling. Kross signed a multi-year deal with the company last year but has now asked about a raise, feeling that he is worth more than his current contract pays him. While not specified, Kross was said to be asking for six figures a year in pay, with Impact Wrestling’s counter offer being far lower than that, albeit in a restructured deal. Kross’ request for a release was not granted, though the situation seems to be still professional between both sides.
The man still has his intensity. Check out Kross’ promo from last week’s Impact Wrestling:
Opinion: I’m not sure about this one, as Kross has only been around the company for about a year now and hasn’t done all that much. He’s been fine, but he hasn’t exactly been a game changer hire. I can understand why Kross would want more money since he has become a bigger star, but at the same time he signed a deal and knew what he was agreeing to do. Maybe he can get out of that, but it isn’t the best look in the world.
What do you think of Kross? Would he be hired by WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
